SPRING SMOKEY EYE

Makeup Laura Hernandez / Model Maddie Milton / Photo Rubi Metz

This gentle spring smokey eye adds a touch of edge to a fresh, dewy complexion and romantic pout. Fresh skin, rosy pink lips, and an undone smokey eye... total Victoria Beckham vibes.

STEP 1:

After prepping the skin, warm up the Vapour Luminous Foundation Stick on the back of your hand and apply to the main points of the face where you need the most coverage. Gently buff into the skin using the Vapour Foundation Brush. Fore more oily skin types, buff in gentle circular motions. For drier skin types, gently stipple the foundation in to minimize any texture and to get the most seamless coverage.

STEP 2:

Add any additional coverage and brighten under the eyes with the Fitglow Conceal+. Buff into the skin with a soft concealer brush such as the Fitglow Teddy Double Conceal + Correct Brush.

STEP 3:

Starting with the Vapour Bronzing Stick, gently contour the face by drawing just under cheekbones, around the forehead and temples, along the jawline and down the sides of the nose. Tap into skin with a dense brush to blend.

STEP 4:

Following along the high points of the face, apply the Vapour Highlight Stick to add a more radiant glow. Focus on the tops of the cheek bones, along the brow bone, down the bridge of the nose, and along the cupid's bow - anywhere the light naturally hits the face.

STEP 5:

On the apples of the cheeks and between where you placed the bronzer and highlighter, apply the Vapour Aura Multi Stick after warming it up on the back of your hand. Gently blend forward starting towards the hairline and ears to add a natural flush to the cheeks. Blend until no harsh lines remain.

STEP 6:

Set the complexion with Vapour Perfecting Pressed Powder, focusing on the center of the face and under the eyes. Instead of using a buffing motion, gently press and roll the powder into the skin using the Vapour Sculpting Brush, being careful not to disrupt the cream products you just placed.

STEP 7:

Begin by lining the eyes with the Fitglow Vegan Eyeliner Pencil in Bronze. Gently smudge the liner along the lash line and extend outward to add a more dramatic and lifting effect to the eye. Using the deepest shade in the Vapour Labyrinth Eyeshadow Quad, apply to the lash line and gently blend. Next, take the earthy shade and begin blending up onto the lid, creating a gradient effect.

Don’t worry if it’s not perfect! The trick to achieving this sultry look is keeping things loose and “undone”. Clean up any fallout or uneven edges with a Q-Tip if you prefer a cleaner line of shadow.

STEP 8:

Finish off the eyes by applying a couple coats of the Jane Iredale Beyond Lash Mascara. For added volume, apply your favorite pair of falsies!

STEP 9:

Groom the brows by combing the Kosas Airbrow Clear Gel through the brow hairs moving in upward and outward motions, following the natural hair pattern. This not only sets the brows to keep them in place, but also helps to frame the face.

STEP 10:

Start lining and defining the lips with Fitglow Vegan Lip Liner in Buff. Outline and fill in the lips with the pencil then finish by applying the Vapour High Voltage Lipstick in Madam all over the lips.
