Welcome to 2023, gorgeous! I could not be more excited to open the invitation for a beautiful new year ahead. I love the fresh energy that January brings because it offers us the opportunity to chase our dreams, elevate ourselves, activate new goals or even settle into new, nourishing rituals. The energy is supportive to call in whatever it is that your soul is craving for the current moment and the upcoming year ahead. This month, I am deep diving into my wellness practices. After the busy Holiday season when we tend to let ourselves indulge and flow with whatever feels good, we often get a little off center from our core wellness rituals, so I find that the blank slate of January is the perfect opportunity to settle back into the basics. One of the things that I’ve been doing recently is really making an effort to create a serene environment at home. After the hustle and bustle of the holidays, the energy can feel a bit chaotic and I find that setting the tone of the space with the Campo Ultrasonic Essential Oil Diffuser helps my household relax, unwind and ground into the present moment. Body care is huge for me especially because I have very dry skin. We have a great blog here on the art of embodying your best naked self and I really live by some of the practices there. This body (balm) is one of Agent’s latest launches and I have to say that I am obsessed. It’s a treatment product that’s formulated with trademarked, patented face-grade anti-aging active ingredients IBR-TCLC®, PhytoSpherix™ and IBR-Chill™ that help to not only retain long-lasting moisture, but also firm & lift the skin. This feels super rich & nourishing and gives a really gorgeous, supple glow. It is essentially fragrance-free, so if you are sensitive to harsh scents in your products, this is for you. It’s very neutral and has just a subtle scent of the natural oils and ingredients with no additional fragrance.
These are perfect to use before any night out, party, event or photoshoot. You can even pop these on during those mornings where you feel that you need a little pick-me-up to brighten up your eye area. They totally revitalize, hydrate and give you a glow. You can leave them on for as little as 15 minutes and up to 2 hours, which I find is fairly unique for this type of eye mask. They are formulated with nano active gold which is essentially colloidal gold which works to retain moisture, boost the skin with antioxidants and lighten the skin. Each eye mask also contains hydrolyzed collagen, rose oil, hyaluronic acid, oat peptides & vitamin C for a total dose of nutrients to help depuff, reduce dark circles and smooth out any fine lines. They work really well to prep the under eye area for makeup too so I highly recommend these! They also make great gifts.
Lately I have been really into super voluminous, siren hair, and this product helps me achieve that. It gives absolutely unparalleled volume and really lifts the roots for a super full, lustrous look, which I just love. Not only does it add volume, but it helps to tame any frizz & gives the hair a beautiful shine. I like to let this product marinate while my hair is in a roller set before a blowout. What I really love about this, is that it doesn’t feel heavy or weigh the hair down at all. It contains honey and sugarcane to hold and even if you brush through it, you’re not going to get any build up. You can also use this on both wet and dry hair, so if you’re on day 2 or 3 between your shampoos and you just want a little more volume, you can apply some of this and it just works like a charm.
One of my all-time favorite wellness hacks is utilizing flower essences, which is why I love Lotus Wei so much. It’s one of those special brands that I always come back to when I need to elevate my frequency. The aura mists will forever be some of my most beloved products.
